Thank you for being here and for considering counseling at Psych Blossom—I appreciate the trust and effort it takes to pursue therapy.  I see counseling as a collaborative relationship in which treatment is tailored specifically to each person's needs at the time. I believe in allowing space for all things in the counseling process, including humor, discomfort, joy, and challenge. So, whether you're needing a safe, supportive place in your life or wanting to resolve deeper, long-term issues, I’ll provide a calm, open space for you to do that.

I have 10 years of experience working in the mental health field in various capacities and have had the opportunity to receive consistent, specialized training in diverse therapeutic approaches, client issues, and up-to-date research that helps me to best support, my clients. Throughout my career, I’ve provided community outreach and presentations on mental health and wellness and continually seek to use my experience and training to provide effective care that recognizes a variety of needs. I firmly believe that not everyone needs the same things from therapy, so it needs to adjust to you.

My specialties include depression, grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, and support for LGBTQ+ identified individuals and multiracial individuals. I am passionate about supporting my clients and understand the difficulty of healing. My ideal clients are individuals who understand that healing often requires change. With that in mind, I collaborate with my clients to address symptoms, identify their personal response patterns, make meaning, gain insight into emotions, and learn to better regulate or cope.

My holistic approach often combines emotion-focused, relational, cognitive behavioral (CBT), and mindfulness elements.  I approach each person with the awareness that we, as humans, thrive in connection with ourselves and others and that healing can come through that same connection. My therapeutic style can be described as genuine, collaborative, empathetically challenging, and non-judgmental.

I am committed to meeting my clients where they are and recognizing each person’s innate capability to learn about themselves and heal. My hope is for my clients to connect with their needs and experience changes in therapy that help them to feel more empowered, build a strong personal foundation of understanding, and to reconnect with what brings them peace.

I'm looking forward to meeting you and working with you.
