Unlike traditional counseling, EMDR therapy doesn’t always require individuals to discuss in detail their painful experiences. Rather it focuses on using the brain’s natural capacity to heal itself by rewiring negative thoughts, emotions, and behaviors related to the traumatic experience. EMDR therapy provides a comprehensive, eight-phase approach to healing on a psychological, physical, and emotional level.

How much does therapy cost?
The cost of therapy depends on the expertise and level of experience of your clinician, type of service and length of session but it ranges anywhere from $150-300 per clinical hour (50 mins).
Do you take Insurance?
Yes, we’re currently in network with Aetna, United Healthcare, Oxford & Oscar Health.
I really wanna work with one of your therapists. What options do I have if you don’t accept my insurance?
If you wanna work if us but we don’t take your insurance, you have two options. You can 1. do it yourself or use 2. Mentaya to process your out of pocket reimbursement. See instructions below:
Do it yourself: Please call your insurance and ask for your out-of-network benefits. They typically reimburse for 50-80% of our fee. Oftentimes, it ends up costing you similar to going in-network. When you decide to use your out of network benefits, you pay our practice for every session and we give you a statement at the end of every month. You then submit that statement to your insurance and they send you the reimbursement check.
Use Mentaya: We can submit claims on your behalf through Mentaya. Mentaya is a platform that helps clients get money back on out-of-network therapy sessions. If you have out-of-network benefits, Mentaya will file claims and handle the insurance paperwork to make sure you get reimbursed. They charge a 5% fee per claim and have helped people get thousands of dollars back per year. You can sign up using this link.
